This document describes how the platform actually operates today. We publish it in good faith and keep it in step with the service, so it may be updated from time to time — the date above always shows the current version. It is not legal advice.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
You can browse most of KSA.ai without an account. If you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Display name
- Password, stored as a bcrypt hash
- Account role and subscription status
- Language preference
- Email verification and account dates
We do not collect postal addresses, telephone numbers, government ID numbers, or photographs. We do not receive or store payment card details.
If you contribute content, we collect the information you submit, including information about organisations, jobs, AI tools and models, reviews, interview experiences and salaries.
Some contributions are designed to be anonymous. However, information you include in free text may allow others to identify you.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Operate and secure your account
- Verify email addresses and reset passwords
- Review and publish contributions
- Provide access to the salary database
- Process subscriptions and job postings
- Send account-related emails
- Prevent abuse and protect the platform
- Understand site usage
We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers to operate the platform, including for hosting, payments, email and analytics. These providers may process personal information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.
Payment card details are handled directly by our payment provider and are not provided to KSA.ai.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies necessary for login and language preferences. If analytics is enabled, analytics providers may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser.
Our hosting providers may also maintain ordinary technical server logs, including IP addresses.
5. Retention and Deletion
We do not currently automatically delete inactive accounts or published contributions. Information is generally retained while your account remains open.
You may request deletion by emailing hello@ksa.ai from the email address associated with your account. We will delete your account and associated contributions, except information that cannot reasonably be linked to you or that we are required to retain.
Rejected submissions may be retained for moderation purposes.
6. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain a copy of your information, or complain to a data protection authority.

7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, secure password storage, secure sessions and email verification.
No online service can guarantee complete security.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top indicates the current version. Where appropriate, we will notify users of significant changes.
