NEOM

NEOM was announced on 24 October 2017, and NEOM Company was incorporated as a single-shareholder joint stock company in 2019. The development covers roughly 26,500 km² in Tabuk Province.

• Oxagon — the industrial region, anchored by the Port of NEOM and described by NEOM as built around renewable energy and AI-driven industries.
• THE LINE — the linear urban development.
• Trojena — the mountain destination, at 2,600 m.
• Sindalah — the island destination, opened on 27 October 2024.
• Magna.

NEOM Tech & Digital Company was established in 2021 and rebranded as Tonomus on 27 September 2022. It is described as the first company established as a full-fledged subsidiary of NEOM, and its remit is the “cognitive foundation” — AI, data and digital twin — for THE LINE, Oxagon and Trojena. It reported investing USD 1bn in 2022.

DataVolt's phase one at Oxagon is a USD 5bn investment targeting 1.5 GW, described as a fully renewable net-zero AI factory campus, with operations expected in 2028.

HUMAIN and DataVolt have separately announced an AI-ready data centre at Oxagon planned at 360 MW, of which a first 100 MW is expected in 2028.
